Import the Template Kit
3 min read0 viewsUpdated on September 3, 2026
Two ways to import a kit — full bundle or individual pages — and what to do right after.
⚠️ Warning
Importing a kit will overwrite your current Elementor global colors, fonts, and site settings. If you're testing or already have content on your site, do this on a staging site or a fresh WordPress install first — there's no built-in "undo" for an import.
There are two ways to bring a kit's pages into your site, and which one you should use depends on where you're starting from. Both use the same plugin: Template Kit – Import, Envato's official plugin for this exact job.
Option A — Bundle Import
💡 Tip
Recommended when you're starting from a fresh WordPress install with nothing on it yet.
Bundle Import is by far the faster route — it brings in every page, the header, the footer, and the kit's global styles in a single pass, so your site looks fully built the moment it finishes.
Download the kit package from your ThemeForest account (Downloads → select the product → Main Files).
Navigate to Plugins → Add New and search for Template Kit – Import.
Install and activate the Template Kit – Import plugin (skip this if you already installed it back in Install Required Theme & Plugins).
Once activated, go to Tools → Template Kit.
Click "Upload Template Kit ZIP File" and upload the .zip you downloaded, then choose Import entire kit.
Confirm which components to include (content, templates, site settings) when prompted, then start the import.
Wait for the import to finish — this can take a few minutes depending on the kit size and your hosting speed. Don't close the tab or navigate away mid-import.
Check Pages in your WordPress dashboard to confirm every page was created.
Option B — Single Import
