Coworkly — Coworking & Creative Space

Full setup guide for the Coworkly coworking space template kit.
Coworkly is built around the thing coworking businesses actually sell: space, and the ability to book it. That's why, unlike a typical service-business kit, Coworkly's page structure and forms are weighted heavily toward showcasing spaces and amenities, then getting a visitor to a booking action as quickly as possible.
⚠️ Warning
Importing this kit will overwrite your current Elementor global colors, fonts, and site settings. Use a staging site or fresh install if you already have content.
Step 1 — Import template files using the Template Kit – Import plugin
Navigate to Plugins > Add New and search for Template Kit Import.
Install and activate the plugin.
Once activated, go to Tools > Template Kit.
Click Upload Template Kit ZIP File and upload the .zip file you downloaded from your ThemeForest Downloads page (do not unzip the file). The filename will look something like themeforest-XXXXXXXX-coworkly-coworking-creative-space-elementor-template-kit.zip — the string of characters after themeforest- is a unique download ID and will differ from what's shown here.
Wait for the import process to complete. A grid will appear showing every page and template included in the kit — each with its own Import Template button.
Click Import Template on the Global Kit Styles card only — it's usually the first card in the grid — to set up your site's global settings. Leave every other card in this grid alone for now.
ℹ️ Note
on't click Import Template on the individual page cards (Home, About Us, Services, etc.) in this grid. You'll bring those in per-page instead, from inside the Elementor editor — see Steps 2–3 below. Importing a page from here too would just mean doing the same import a second time once you're on that page.
ℹ️ Note
If a plugin the kit needs isn't installed or active yet, you may see a prompt to install missing requirements before a template will import. If that happens, follow the prompt, then continue from where you left off.
Step 2 — Create a new homepage in the Pages panel
In the WordPress dashboard, go to Pages > Add New Page.
Enter a title for your page, such as Home.
Click Publish to save your new page.
Step 3 — Import the template into the Home page
After publishing the page, click Edit with Elementor.
In the Elementor editor, click the Template Kit Import icon on the canvas to open your list of installed kits.
Select the Coworkly - Elementor Template Kit, locate the Homepage template, and click Insert Template
💡 Tip
Customize the layout and content using Elementor's drag-and-drop interface, then repeat Steps 2–3 for each other page you need — e.g. About Us, Spaces, Amenities, Booking, Pricing Plans, Events, Teams, Testimonials, FAQ, Blog, Contact Us.
Step 4 — Display the Home page as the main page
Go to Settings > Reading in your WordPress dashboard.
Select A static page under "Your homepage displays."
Choose the Home page you created in the Homepage dropdown.
Click Save Changes to apply the settings.
Step 5 — Add menus to your website
Go to Appearance > Menus in your WordPress dashboard.
Enter a title for your menu, such as Main Menu.
Under Menu Settings, check the location you want this menu to appear in (usually Header).
Click Create Menu.
Once the menu is created, the page reloads with an Add menu items panel. Under Pages, select the pages you want to include (e.g. Home, About Us, Services, Contact Us) and click Add to Menu.
Arrange the menu items by dragging and dropping them into your desired order under Menu Structure.
Click Save Menu to apply the changes.
Step 6 — Set up the global header and footer in ElementsKit
Like the individual pages, the kit's Header and Footer templates aren't pre-imported from the grid — you'll bring them in here instead, then assign them so they show up across the whole site.
Go to ElementsKit > Header Footer and click Add New.
Title the header (e.g. Header), leave Entire Site selected, and toggle Activation to On.
Click the gray Edit Content button to open the Elementor builder.
Click the Template Kit icon (same as Step 3), then find and click Insert Template on the Header template.
Select your menu (created in Step 5) in the Nav Menu widget and click Publish.
Repeat the same steps for the Footer template.
Step 7 — Import MetForm templates
ℹ️ Note
If you already have Elementor Pro, you can skip installing MetForm — build the kit's forms using Elementor Pro's native Form widget instead. MetForm is only needed on the free version of Elementor, and it's what the kit's pre-built form designs are built with.
This kit includes several form templates — e.g. five forms: Booking, Coming Soon, Contact, Newsletter, and Question Search.
Open the page that already contains this form widget (e.g. the page you built in Steps 2–3 that includes a form — like Contact Us) with Edit with Elementor.
Click the MetForm widget directly on the canvas — its settings panel will show an Edit Form option. Then, click Edit Form.
Choose Create New, select the Blank Template option, and give the form a name (e.g. Booking Form), then click Import — this opens the MetForm builder.
Click the Template Kit icon (the same Envato Template Kit icon you used to insert pages in Step 3), then click View Installed Kit on the kit card.
Find your form (e.g. Booking Form) and click Insert Template.
Click Publish.
Click Update & Close — the form is now successfully imported.
Click Publish on the Elementor page to save.
Go to MetForm > Forms. Click the gear (settings) icon on the form you want to configure — this opens the Form Settings popup.
Open the Notification tab. Notification mail to admin is off (NO) by default — toggle it to YES, then fill in Email To with your real business inbox — not the demo/placeholder address — before going live.
Click Save changes
ℹ️ Note
Turning on email notification is optional and per form — it's just an alert, not a requirement. Every submission is saved under MetForm > Entries regardless of whether notification is on, so you can skip this for forms you don't need an instant email for, and only repeat Steps 9–11 for the forms where you do want one.
Step 8 — Customize global colors and typography
Open any imported page with the Edit with Elementor option.
Click the Elementor logo icon in the top-left corner of the panel (this replaced the old hamburger menu icon), then select Site Settings.
Under Design System, choose Global Colors or Global Fonts to match your brand.
Adjust the values accordingly.
Save your changes by clicking Save Changes at the bottom left.
ℹ️ Note
Some demo images in this kit require a separate Envato Elements license. Replace them with your own photos before going live, both for licensing reasons and because real photos of your business build more trust with visitors than stock imagery.
