Here's what's actually different between the two:

• With Elementor Pro, you get Elementor's native Theme Builder — a more polished, first-party way to manage header/footer and single post/archive templates, plus a handful of Pro-only widgets and some advanced form actions.

• Without Elementor Pro, the kit's bundled plugins (Jeg Elementor Kit / ElementsKit) provide their own equivalent for header/footer and template management, and MetForm handles all form functionality on its own — Pro isn't required for forms to work at all.

In practice, most buyers never need to upgrade. Elementor Pro is worth considering later if you specifically want its native Theme Builder experience or plan to build many more sites beyond this kit and want that workflow standardized — but for setting up and running any single kit in this documentation, the free version is genuinely enough.
