Missing Styles / Broken Layout After Import

Fix pages that look unstyled or broken right after import.
If the import itself completed successfully but something still looks wrong, the fix depends on exactly what looks wrong — colors/fonts, layout width, and missing images each point to a different cause, so find the symptom that matches below rather than working through all of them.
Colors, fonts, or global styles look wrong
This almost always means the kit's Global Kit Styles weren't imported along with the pages — Elementor keeps site-wide style settings (colors, fonts, defaults) as a separate piece from the page content itself.
Go to Tools → Template Kit and check whether Global Kit Styles were included in your import — if you used Single Import to hand-pick pages (see Import the Template Kit), it's easy to skip Global Kit Styles by accident, so re-run the import and make sure it's selected.
In Elementor → Settings, check "Disable default fonts" and "Disable default colors" — leaving Elementor's own built-in defaults active can override the kit's intended global styles.
Clear Elementor's cache: go to Elementor → Tools → General, and under "Elementor Cache" click Clear Files & Data (this replaces the older "Regenerate CSS" button in newer Elementor versions). Elementor caches generated CSS for performance, and a fresh import doesn't always trigger that cache to rebuild on its own — clearing it forces a rebuild the next time each page is visited.
Clear any caching plugin and your browser cache, then reload the page — a page caching plugin serving an old, pre-import version of a page is a common false alarm here.
Layout looks squished or boxed instead of full-width
Open the affected page in Elementor, click the gear icon for Page Settings, and set Page Layout to "Elementor Full Width."
Confirm the Hello Elementor theme is active — as covered in System & Server Requirements, a different active theme is the single most common root cause of layout issues, since other themes add their own competing CSS and page-width rules.
If you're using Elementor Pro's Theme Builder and a single-post or archive template seems to be overriding pages it shouldn't, check that template's display conditions — a condition set to "All Singular" instead of just "Posts" applies it far more broadly than intended.
